There isn’t much to say about Thirty-Three Point Three. We’re all just spinning out in space, and I happened to land for a minute in a place where I was able to write about one of my favorite things: music. Here is where I’ll share those words with you, whether they’re just thoughts I had that I wanted to throw out there, or professional pieces I’ve written for various places around the vast and scary internet.
Here are the important things:
If I’m listening to Rickie Lee Jones’ “Company,” I could probably use a hug.
If I’m listening to Tupac, chances are my daughter has control of the music. This is me with her, a long time ago.
If I’m listening to Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s, bring me a coffee and let me write a little longer. That’s usually the key to being okay: more coffee, and writing just a little bit longer.
I’m old, cranky, and set in my ways, but I’m always open to new sounds. If you have something you think I’d like, let me know and I’ll check it out. Until then, thanks for being here. You’re lovely.
